This will be a LUNCH BUNCH activity. On rotating weeks, students in grades four and five will meet with the library teacher during their lunch time to have an open discussion about the books that they are reading on the MCBA master list. In addition to writing comments on this WIKI about the books that they are sharing and discussing during the lunch session, the group will also update their grade level's genre graphic organizer located below.
At the end of the program, each class will be able to compare their class's genre guesses that they made as the program began in September with the genre decisions after students have actually read the books.
